Following events of breakups, allegations of domestic violence and a marriage crisis that rocked the Nigerian entertainment industry, comedian Ayo Makun has urged Nigerians to pray for the performers.
Ayo Makun, popularly known as ‘AY’ on Sunday, urged Nigerians to pray for celebrities going through tough times rather than basking in negativity.
According to him, celebrities are human too and need prayers, not just bad comments.
His tweet read: “Beyond all the negative comments and negativity that some of us enjoy or see as entertainment regarding the incessant issues that plague the lives and homes of celebrities, sometimes let’s get better on social media and pray for our favorites who are equally human. “
The last few days in the entertainment industry have been rough for some celebrities.
It all started with Annie Idibia calling her husband, Tuface, accusing him of sleeping at her ex-lover’s house.
The actress also accused Tuface’s family of being lazy and sucking him.
This led to a war of words between Annie and Tuface’s brother, Charles, with the latter accusing her of assaulting the music legend and preventing his family from visiting his home.
Furthermore, Nedu Wazobia’s wife called him on Saturday, accusing him of domestic violence.
But Nedu, responding, denied the accusation and revealed that a DNA test revealed that he is not the father of the first child with his wife.
