According to ABC, Shondaland medical drama returns with its first mid – season premiere on Thursday, March 4, 2021. The show is expected to take the usual 9pm ET time slot after the firefighter ‘s spinoff, Station 19.

In fact, the March 2021 release date is lower than is perfectly suited for some Anatomy Gray fans. Viewers will have to wait 11 weeks before the next new program is announced. But in an interview with Deadline, showrunner Krista Vernoff revealed that the summary is why Anatomy Gray Season 17 of Episode 7 will not be back until next spring.

“We’re going to do some production work on a Friday and we’ll get a week or two off for the Christmas holidays. The show is not back until, I think, March, ”said Vernoff. “But that’s because we have fewer events this year because of the lateness of our return to production.”

When you talk to Entertainment tonight after the end of the winter, executive producer Andy Reaser strained what Anatomy Gray fans can expect when new events begin in 2021. And ultimately, viewers seem to be in for a lifelong tour.

“There is Gray’s so it’s the whole spectrum, ”said Reaser. “It’s one of the great things about the show, and it’s from the beginning when Shonda came [Rhimes] Krista was there, long before us, that the show has always done an amazing job balancing tone and emotion, rather than just one thing. ”

The EP continued, “You can go from a moment of excitement to a moment of laughter, to a moment of complete heartbreak, to a moment on the edge of your chair. And we continue that road. ”

Reaser also blocked the Anatomy Gray premiere in 2021 will be similar to other crossover with Station 19.

“The end of winter is a cross and I think I can say this, an [spring] it’s also going to be premiered and it’s great, ”said Reaser. “I’d say, buy a hat and hang on because it’s good and unexpected, and that’s all there is to it. Gray’s it’s so good. ”

As for what happened to Meredith, it appears that the general surgeon is not out of the woods yet while fighting the coronavirus (COVID-19). The EP appeared on Anatomy Gray the team did not take the situation “lightly.” So at this point, viewers just need to see what’s expanding.

“The virus keeps everyone in check and it’s useless,” Reaser said. “It simply came to our notice then. ”
