Hvitserk fights with Ivar in Wessex
Fans will remember that Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) was stabbed by what Ivar looks like (even though he should be completely elsewhere) at the end of the mid-season in -fight against Russia. Season 6B builds back with Bjorn, badly injured, plotting a plan to spread rumors to Russia that he is already dead. When they see him riding out to meet them in battle gear, he scares them. Though Bjorn is killed by three arrows, he still unleashes his sword and lifts it into the air, as his army moves in, crushing Russia. However, he loses his life in the process.
After the Russians win, Hvitserk and Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) return to Kyiv, but not long. After helping to overthrow Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky) with Prince Dir (Lenn Kudrjawizki) and Prince Igor (Oran Glynn O’Donovan), the brothers return to Kattegat. From there, they sail west again to Wessex, and fight King Alfred (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo). The last few events take the fight, and while Ivar dies in battle, Hvitserk shows off some of his best fighting skills in the final moments of the season. Fans were quick to comment on it on social media, and many were very happy.
Fans get a glimpse into Hvitserk’s fighting abilities
Reddit has been live about the new happenings and how things play out. A fan recently posted the title, “Hvitserk Ragnarson,” with the words, “This guy knows how to fight, harm. One of the most interesting on the battlefield. In battle 6B we see him in beast full mode. ”
Fans didn’t hold back, but said with their own opinions on this Ragnar son. One fan says that Hvitserk is Ragnar’s “favorite” of sons to see in battle, but he’s no better than Bjorn.
“Yep, he’s my favorite son to watch in battle, though he’s no better than Bjorn,” they said. “It just goes in a berserk-filled mode. ”
One fan admitted that Hvitserk’s fight scenes were some of his “favorite moments” of last season. “Hvitserk’s fight scenes were definitely some of my favorite moments in s6,” a fan wrote in the comments.
One fan claims that Hvitserk is “a pure superhero better” than Bjorn or Ubbe. “He was very energetic, he moved gracefully, how he handled unique weapons,” said a fan. “If you really look, the way he fights, it’s almost like watching a ballerina… It’s a testament to the dancers, Marco Ilso, and his fans for the commendable work they have done. ”
Another fan agrees with the original post, and they compare it to Rollo (Clive Standen), a famous uncle. “I agree. Hvitserk reminds me of Rollo very much when he’s fighting,” they said.
However, another fan believes that Hvitserk is in fact fighting like Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård). “He kinda fights like Floki, and his movement is similar,” the fan stressed.
However, not everyone agrees. “Go back to the early sons of Ragnar events,” said a fan. “Although I see him as the best of the brothers. Ubbe can fight! ”
Another Reddit user brings up Ubbe’s fighting skills as well. “Ubbe is a real beast, a close connection between him and Bjorn in my opinion,” they said.
Hvitserk’s fighting skills were fully demonstrated in the final sections of Vikings, and many fans noticed.
