It is a difficult time for the Vanderpump Rules children. There were a lot of them that didn’t make it past last season. Bravo made a short round of cuts that left most of the team with no place on display. Now, two of the last members standing, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are in hot water as well. They both sue over their cocktail book, Fancy Cocktails AF.
Why are Tom and Ariana sued?
If you have watched Vanderpump Rules, then you know this book has been a long time in making it. For a while, it was all about Madix. Initially, the book was to be a solo adventure for Madix but later his girlfriend Sandoval came along. Now, writer Alison Baker says she had a hand in the book as well.
According to court documents, obtained by Weekly Us, Baker says she met Madix through a girlfriend in 2016. At the time, the two began talking about coaxing a cocktail book. Baker said she and Madix made things in March of that year and agreed to services. Madix wanted to pay Baker a fee of $ 3,000 and 45 percent of the advance when a publisher embraced the book’s concept. She would also earn 45 percent of “right-wing realms” on the sale of that book in perpetuity. ”She should also have been named a collector.
Baker says Sandoval entered into the agreement in 2017 and told Madix that they should write a separate book. Baker says she then formed a new deal, Sandoval among them. Under this new agreement, the three of them wanted to “share in the third income from this extraordinary effort.”
Baker claims that after the agreement was reached, the couple told her that they were “not willing to do the necessary work to write and self-publish a book.” successfully. ”
While that was the end of their work together, Madix and Sandoval went out and published Fancy Cocktails AF: drink recipes from a couple of professional drinkers. Baker now claims that their product “incorporates many of the property rights” that she and Madix came up with for the book’s concept.
What do Alison Baker want from Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval?
Baker claims for “all monies and benefits received or received from the sale of the scrapbook. ‘”In addition, she requests that damages and her solicitor’s costs be paid.
Are the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ coming back?
Several castmembers were fired from the show. Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired for a racially charged incident from the past, along with Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are not employed by Vanderpump Rules, either. Lala Kent, who is pregnant with her first child, has said she is not sure if she will return to the ceremony or not. With half thrown down and Madix and Sandoval included in this legal battle, things are not looking too good for the future Vanderpump Rules.
