The final finale of Season 2 ‘The Mandalorian’ brings back a familiar face

In Am MandalorianEnd of season 2, titled “Chapter 16: The Rescue,” Mando meets the Dark Troopers, and things look grim for him. But in a big twist, the Dark Troopers are chased by none other than Luke Skywalker.

according to Rolling Stone, it was “an emotional decision that marks a high level for the series.” The magazine also praised him for reaching out “back in Star Wars folklore. ”

How did Luke Skywalker emerge in the last 2 seasons?

For each resolution, end of season 2 Am Mandalorian it was neat and tidy. And it tied the modern display back to original Star Wars characters that have been with listeners for generations. But what if this throwback is to Star Wars canon holds more truth than mainstream fans understand? That is the idea behind one fan theory that is currently going viral across the internet.

Ryan Britt, writing for Inverse, suggesting a special idea: The Luke Skywalker we saw inside Am Mandalorian it may not be Luke Skywalker. It may be instead a malicious clone of the Star Wars hero.

“Le Am Mandalorian echoing so many old-school mythical languages, Skywalker’s imposter look is much more believable, ”says Britt. It marks the Star Wars graphic novel series Dark Empire, where Luke and Leia fight with the clone of Emperor Palpatine. Plus, it’s time for Luke and Mara Jade to battle a clone of Luke Skywalker in the book The Last Order.

Hamill has even come out for this idea. “Not only would you get to play your bad pair, but that’s a good idea to bring Luke back, and the audience is starting to notice him being weakening the heroes, inadvertently cutting their fuel supply, possibly even killing one of the supporting characters, ”he said in an interview with SFX magazine (via GamesRadar). “It would be so interesting, and then of course the real Luke emerges and that mystery is solved. ”

Only time will tell Am Mandalorian audiences will bring down such an amazing turnaround. Disney + has not announced a release date for season 3 of Am Mandalorian still. But based on the current production charts, it is likely to come out in 2022.
