‘The Mandalorian’ gives Temuera Morrison a spinoff as Boba Fett
In the original trilogy, the bounty hunter has only a few lines. But with a Mandalorian armor and a slippery star, Boba Fett became a fan favorite anyway. So George Lucas examined the character’s backing in the prequels. Boba, as it turns out, is a clone of another bounty hunter named Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison) and was raised as her son.
Since Jango was the base for the Republic’s clone army, Morrison described those stormtroopers in the prequel trilogy. And over the years, Lucas ’tinkering with the original trilogy replaced Morrison as Boba Fett’s voice as well. So Morrison reiterated that role for Am Mandalorian Season 2, renews interest in the character. Now he’s getting a spinoff.
What other ‘Star Wars’ characters might return for the new show?
With Morrison reiterating the title role, Boba Fett’s book he has the ability to find tons of heroes and other lies. Apparently, the show picks up Boba ‘s story from Am Mandalorian. And if so, that seems to put him just a few years after his death The Jedi return. So could Alden Ehrenreich repeat his role as Han Solo for the Disney + show?
It is certainly possible. After all, fans – and Ehrenreich – have been hoping for some sort of sequel to 2018’s Solo: The Story of Star Wars. And while there is no check in the cards, the publication of a Lando series shows that Lucasfilm is not made with these characters. The original trilogy mentions a history between these three. So Boba Fett’s book finally to introduce him.
