With Adams as the second Black Bachelorette and the second Latina (following Crawley), she gives a lot of production.
She was also not sure how this post would turn out, but she wanted to achieve what was expected. “I have to admit, I didn’t know what to expect to be a Bachelorette,” she said in an interview with Nerds Black Girl.
“I didn’t know if I was told, ‘Oh no, you have to talk to this guy a little bit?’ Are you sure you see these headlines? I am human. In fact, I might think that’s probably something. I’ll tell you when I was in that situation, no one told me anything. I was navigating those relationships with my heart and with my head. I believe it’s a stereotype I want to break, I hope you see me exploring all relationships, no matter what the person looks like. I think that’s one thing I’m proud of myself for being really present in all the conversations and seeing if there’s a connection. ”

In a separate cookie released by Weekly entertainment Ahead of the show, Adams revealed that the idea of remarriage was “stressful”.

“The idea of remarrying is something that worries me,” she said in the clip. “It’s terrible. This involves our families, it involves a lot of risk. It just strikes me that this is it. I’ve been down this road before, and I never wanted to. experience that heartbreak I experienced in my last marriage This is the biggest decision of my life… and I have no idea what to do.
