‘The Bachelor’: Does Matt James’ Wife Have to Be Christian?

Last night, Matt James made history as Black’s first male lead Am Bachelor. Although the night was historic, there is usually little difference in night one, regardless of the season. Am Bachelor It is. But this year, James shook things up by opening the cocktail party with a long prayer. Most of the Bachelors have at least been Christian, but James was one of the first to offer such public and earnest prayer. Will this be the case if he falls in love with a non-Christian woman?

Most of the men opening the cocktail party on night one talk about how exciting it is to find love and how, in particular, they are ready for love now. more than ever.

James, on the other hand, led with a prayer.

“I’ve been thinking for so long about what I’m going to tell you all, and I’m going to take a different approach,” he said.

“Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us all together healthy. Encourage these women to get through the coming months, ”he continued with his eyes closed. “You say that you are working for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose, Father God. And I feel like that’s why I’m here and I feel like that these women are here, Lord. ”

His prayer moved some of the women to tears and confirmed in some of their hearts that something could happen between them and James.

Does Matt James’ wife have to be a Christian?

Religious differences can cause serious problems for relationships. Last season of Am Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams sent the final Ivan Hall home after a conversation about religion. But James seems open to dating someone of a different faith.

“It’s my own opinion and I would never force that on someone, especially with those differing views within my family,” he said. “My brother has completely different religious beliefs and I don’t love him. I would never want that to be something that kept me from being with someone. ”
