‘Saturday Night Live’: A Look Back at Justin Timberlake’s Best ‘SNL’ Moments

Justin Timberlake is perhaps a Grammy-winning pop star. But through a Saturday Night Live appear, he’s proven to have some really bad chops too. The singer / actor picked up four Emmy Awards for his work on the show – two for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series and two for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.

It has been a while since he was entertained. So here’s a look back at some of Timerblake’s funniest ones SNL minutes.

‘Take it Down to Wrappinville’ – Season 39 ‘SNL’

Timberlake and his friend Jimmy Fallon have a recycling sketch SNL where they decorate as items and try to get customers into their stores. In the 39-piece season, “Take It Down to Wrappinville,” Timberlake and Fallon rap up Christmas package store representatives.

‘D *** in a box’ – Quarter 32

Returning to the sex dolls of the 1990s, Timberlake came together SNL co-star Andy Samberg to make the digital short film, D *** in Box. The duo play a wannabe R&B duo who wakes up over their friends (played by Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph) with their “trash” wrapped in holiday boxes. The song won a Creative Arts Emmy for Timberlake for Special Music & Lyrics in 2007.

‘Barry Gibb Conversation Show’ – ‘SNL’ Quarter 29

Another of Timberlake and Fallon’s recycling sketches is “Barry Gibbs Conversation Show.” The duo first appeared as Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb and his brother Robin on season 29. They interview and entertain their guests in the sketch, all while maintaining the loud Bee sound Gees sin.

‘Motherlover’ – Season 34 ‘SNL’

Timberlake and Samberg rehearsed their R&B singer personalities for “Motherlover” – a song in which they pay homage to each other’s mothers – Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson – by sleeping with them.

‘The Merryville Brothers: A Tunnel of Love’ – Season 36

Timberlake and SNL the stars, Bill Hader and Taran Killam are all three in a lively workshop in the sketch of season 36, “The Merryville Brothers: A Tunnel of Love.” When an unwanted couple (Jason Sudeikis and Nasim Pedrad) ride through a carnival love tunnel, they encounter the music group and find them attractive first. But as the radio progresses, the robots will start making critical advances.

‘3-Way: The Golden Rule’ – Season 36 ‘SNL’

Timberlake and Samberg’s fast-paced R&B teams join Lady Gaga for the digital short, “3-Way. ”In the song, the pair say goodbye to their moms and head out to visit Lady Gaga. When she says they are all sleeping together, the two sing, “It’s okay when he’s in three ways.”
