‘Outlander’: Sophie Skelton Shares a Hilarious Birthday Shoutout To Her On-Screen Husband, Richard Rankin

Filming for season 6 of the upcoming new season Outlander It is expected to start in 2021, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wondering how long it will be until then. Fortunately, the actors who play our favorite characters are still active on social media in the meantime. Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna MacKenzie, recently wished her husband Richard Rankin a happy birthday on screen, with a behind-the-scenes photo.

Brianna travels back to the past to warn parents of an impending fire. Roger Mackenzie (Rankin) travels after her, and they get married in a beautiful party in season 5. Although they put themselves together in a hand party in season 4, they just did official things recently. They raise their son, Jeremiah, or Jemmy, together. But Brianna was sexually assaulted by Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers), and at the time, it is not clear who his biological father is. But Roger introduces Jemmy as his own, and he cares about it. Book readers know that Jemmy is Roger’s biological child.

But in episode 11, Jemmy rubs into Otter Tooth’s stone, complaining that he’s hot to the touch. Brianna and the others get closer, and all the time passengers – including Bri and Roger – start to hear thanks. When Jemmy touches the stone, she falls. His parents are hopeful that this is a sign that Jemmy is actually Roger’s baby. In addition, the family can travel through the rocks together, although they will return to North Carolina as soon as they leave.

Sophie Skelton wishes Richard Rankin a happy birthday

Skelton recently shared a fun birthday shout-out for her husband on screen. Rankin turned 38 on Jan. 4, and Skelton decided to share a funny picture of him sitting on the ground with someone who was about to put a sack over his head. It was clearly taken during filming for the scene where Roger is hanged and left to die in season 5. Rankin can be seen with a beak in his mouth as he streams off the camera with the whole team gathered around the scene. It’s a funny image of Rankin, and one thing fans will definitely appreciate.

Skelton resigned Instagram: “BIRTHDAY HAPPY! to our most classic member 😜Richarddddd 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I hope your day is full of joy, cake, and all good things … before we get back to work and have to put up with me for another year. Muahahahahaaha 🤪 great love! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾 🎁 🎁🎁🎁🎁. ”

Skelton also sent a birthday shout to Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie) and Hannah James (Geneva Dunsany), who have been on display in the past. McTavish shares a birthday with Rankin, and he turned 60. Skelton named Erin Cahill in her role for their birthday as well.

Roger was almost killed

Fans may remind us that, in season 5, program 7, Roger has the confidence to deliver a message to Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) ahead of a battle between the British and the rulers. However, it falls on a woman who is genuinely an ancestor he has met before. But her husband decides to beat Roger when he gets the wrong idea, and whether he’s hanged over with other men with British military prisoners.

But the next program reveals that Roger is still miraculously alive, but his airway has trouble getting through when they cut him. Claire uses her surgical skills to open it by making a hole and using it to allow air to escape from her lungs. Roger has major issues trying to recover after the problem, but is finally able to speak up again.

Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan came in with their own birthday messages

Caitriona Balfe also wished Rankin and McTavish a happy birthday Twitter. “Happy birthday to you @RikRankin and @grahammctavish… I’ll raise a glass for you both! ”She added a party-facing emoji.

Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, also took over Twitter to give Rankin a happy birthday too. “Happy birthday to Mr Rankin !!!! xx, ”he wrote after rewriting the officer Outlander post account about.

The hope Outlander it will return sooner rather than later. In the meantime, we can always look forward to the careers of the actors on social media.
