Marvel Boss Kevin Feige on Chadwick Boseman’s Final Performance in the MCU — ‘In Hindsight, It’s Very Moving’

Marvel CEO Kevin Feige has revealed that Chadwick Boseman has “recorded many programs” of Marvel’s exciting new series What if? before he died in August.

In a recent interview, Feige thought about Boseman’s final performance. He said: “Looking back, it’s very mobile. ”

When Boseman died in August at the age of 43, it surprised fans to find out that the Black panther secretly a star had been battling stage IV colon cancer for four years. Boseman delivered memorable performances and starred in some of the world’s greatest films while secretly fighting for his life.

As fans around the world mourn the loss, Netflix has finally released the on-screen performance of Boseman. In Ma Rainey black bottom, Boseman plays a confident Levee trumpet player. He plays Viola Davis, who plays the titular character.

Mar Rant Screen notes, Boseman ‘s performance is already bringing excitement to an awards season. His co-star Domingo appeared in a promotional cookie that Boseman learned how to play the trumpet for his role in the film.

“I think everyone was like, ‘Oh, that’s what you’re doing, Chad? Okay, now I’m learning too, ”said Domingo. “I love that [he’s] like, ‘Yeah, I challenge you. We are going to challenge each other. ”

Marvel ‘What if … ???’ thinking of T’Challa as a Star-Lord

By the time Boseman died, Marvel had already confirmed that his voice would be heard again in the MCU. The animated series features a program that wonders what if Yondu had adopted T’Challa as a child instead of Peter Quill.

Fans knew of that one upcoming program. However, they didn’t know they had other people they were looking forward to until Feige revealed the news in a recent interview. The Marvel boss has considered the future WandaVision series on Disney + and then picked up other projects that were in the works. That’s when he mentioned Boseman’s introductions What if. ?.

The trailer mocked stories like Doctor Strange fighting a corrupt doppelgänger and Peggy Carter getting the super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers.

In addition to Boseman, other MCU stars repeat their roles. They include Hayley Atwell as Captain Peggy Carter, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and many others.

Season 1 of Marvel What if? it is expected to appear for Disney + in the summer of 2021. Ma Rainey black bottom now streaming on Netflix.
