Those who have kept up with it Little People, Big World they know about Matt and Amy Roloff’s drama. Season 21 sees Amy move off Roloff Farms and into her new place, but it doesn’t seem to be happening as fast as Matt would have liked.
Now, Matt ‘s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, hears all about the struggles from Matt’ s point of view. And Matt had to tell her not to “worry” about Amy anymore after talking about the farm over a Valentine’s Day dinner.
Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff had trouble communicating about Roloff Farms on ‘Little People, Big World’
It hasn’t been an easy road for Matt or Amy to get on LPBW. Amy decided to move away from Roloff Farms and into her own space a few years past her divorce from Matt, and Matt is all for the idea. Now on display, the exes are trying to figure out what to do with Amy ‘s side of the farm – and they have a lot of issues coming to a consensus.
In episode 3, Matt and Amy had a big conflict. Amy wanted a headboard when contractors on her side of the farm building would work in her home. And she was not happy when she came to the farm and saw others taking pictures of the house without her knowledge.
“If I still have this building, all you have to do is say, ‘Hey, if you happen to stop at the farm, you might see this, this is a personal revelation today. That’s it, ”Amy told Matt.
Unfortunately, Matt said that he would not be able to keep Amy in the loop regarding everyone and every phone call he has. As a result there were matches between the exes.
Matt said he doesn’t want Caryn Chandler to worry about Amy
Matt and Amy’s negative conversations will definitely resonate with both of them. And Caryn hears about it too. Caryn and Amy have always had a difficult relationship, as Amy seemed to write about Caryn in her memoir, I’m small. According to Amy, Caryn and Matt were long before her marriage was over. And he has made his relationship with Caryn tense ever since.
In episode 3, Matt once again captured his difficult interaction with Amy to Caryn. Unfortunately, the conversation took place during the Valentine’s Day dinner.
“Caryn and I thought instead of going out to dinner or something where it’s crazy and everyone banging on each other, we thought we’d just celebrating and having something at the DW and spending some personal time together, ”Matt told the cameras.
The conversation then turned into “Amy’s defense,” and Matt caught up with him again with the interaction with his old look. Eventually, he changed his tune.
“I don’t want you to worry about Amy anymore,” Matt told Caryn.
“Yes, this is Valentine’s Day,” Caryn concludes.
Of course Caryn sided with Amy on some issues
Caryn is always there for Matt to talk about his issues with Amy. But that doesn’t mean Caryn thinks Matt is completely on the right side. While Matt asks Amy to move away from Roloff Farms ASAP, Caryn explained that Amy may need a little more time, as the farm has a deep sentimental value to her.
“Well, I get your side completely, but I get her side too,” Caryn explained to Matt on the show. “She’s still thinking about this, as she is now, today, at home. … You may find a happy medium until she feels she has some control over something she still has. She’s not saying she won’t, she’s just saying, try to keep it in the loop. “
We’re glad Caryn doesn’t get too carried away with Matt every time he picks up his fight with Amy. Eventually, however, we think she will want to move completely away from the subject.
