Toilet on the Moor fans will remember “Cinnamon Chicken” as Laura Ingalls spoiling food that Nellie Oleson makes for Almanzo Wilder. According to Melissa Gilbert, the actress who played Laura, there was a lot going on that day behind the scenes. She and Alison Arngrim (played by Nellie) shared a funny, humorous moment about growing up.

Melissa Gilbert and Alison Arngrim became best friends while filming ‘Little House on the Prairie’

While Laura and Nellie were enemies on screen, when the cameras weren’t on, Gilbert and Arngrim were best friends. They raised a lot of mischief on the Paramount lottery.

“At lunchtime, we always tried to get together by mixing the most nutritious food mixes – and eating them!” Gilbert shared his memory, Prairie story. “One of my most memorable creations was a butterscotch pouch and radishes. It wasn’t half bad. ”

But the next day he was back at work. Toilet fans may remember the scene where Laura and Nellie have a physical fight. It was between the filming of this scene that Gilbert shared the news with Arngrim.

“We both had a conflict, a big fighting game in a mud hole, which was really an old water hole for cattle,” she wrote. “When they reset the cameras, I said to her, ‘I’m a woman now.’ ”

Arngrim replied with a smile and said: “You are also covered in cow dung. So appropriate. ”
