‘Law & Order: SVU: The ‘Bromance’ Some Fans Preferred Over Benson and Stabler’s Dynamic

In the history of the Law & order: SVU, several detectors have come and gone, but two of them remained partners for seven years and received a good surprise despite their differences. The image partnership of the two would go on to compete with the same Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) shared back in the day.

Two of SVU’s favorite detectors, John Munch (Richard Belzer) and Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice-T) were partners starting in season 2 in 2000 to season 8 in 2007. they have different backgrounds – Fin comes from undercover narcotics and Munch worked for the Baltimore Police Department as a murder detective in Death: Life on the street – They work well together despite the rocky start.

Fin and Munch kick in with the hilarious banter and enduring humor. Munch is a conspiracy theorist and a Chinese, and he always applies false facts on any kind of subject. Although they build on each other, it is all in great fun, and they work together in this way for several years.

In 2008, Fin tries to move out, but returns to SVU unit when the movement does not occur. (Fin’s ex-partner from the narcotics department who works on movements doesn’t let the movement go through.)

When Munch is promoted to Sergeant, Fin is no longer in partnership with him. Instead he works with Deteterives Chester Lake (Adam Beach) and then Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish). But in season 15 in 2013, Munch is retiring from the division and is now hired as a DA analyst. Although it reappears in season 17, Episode 20 called “Fashionable Crimes,” Munch is no longer SVU.

Fin would go on to become a Sergeant and right-hander of Captain Benson in season 19. But fans have not forgotten about the interesting relationship between Munch and Fin. It remains one of the most beloved partnerships in the series ’history.

Fans have been known to talk about the dynamic duo, and recently talked about the partnership Reddit. “I really like the Munch and Fin bromance of the Benson and Stabler partnership,” admitted a fan in a new role.

Other fans seem to agree with that opinion and responded with their own opinions on the issue. A fan remembers how Munch and Fin started things for the good friends they had before they became partners anymore.

“Saaaaaaaaame,” said the fan. “The main reason is that season 2 is my favorite, just seeing them at first being so weird and gradually working towards a big partnership. I would have liked to have seen, for example, one Munch and Fin-centric program as ‘Manhunt’ each season. “

One viewer misses the humor shared by both participants. “Likewise! The humor together was funny, I miss it so much lol, ”they said.

A fan thinks the move between Munch and Fin was “more natural and fun” than Benson and Stabler shared. “The same. It was a hell of a lot more natural and fun than the Benson / Stabler stuff, ”they said. “Fin seems to measure up more naturally with chefs than anyone else. ”

A fan seems to agree and say that they do not “think that this is an impartial opinion. ”

Some fans still seem to enjoy the partnerships Munch and Fin shared for seven years.
