Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still circulating around the US, but some reality TV stars don’t seem to be taking much of a warning. And the Duggar family from TLC’s Counting on called for dangerous behavior.
Joy-Anna Duggar recently admitted to her Instagram followers that she and her husband, Austin Forsyth, had a coronavirus. Here is what she said.
The Duggars have been criticized for having large gatherings during the pandemic
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have 19 children and many more grandchildren, and are very family friendly. This made the coronavirus difficult to deal with, as they wanted to take the children and grandmothers over to the Duggar family’s large home for celebrations.
Back in March, the family’s matriarch and patriarch sent a message to Facebook about the virus. “We know this Coronavirus condition is unique,” he said role reading. “Apart from the health risk, there are so many unknown economic and social effects of this virus around the world. All we know is that even in the darkest and most challenging times, we can put our trust and hope in God. “
Despite the kind words, fans and critics alike noticed that the Duggars do not seem to be following instructions. Jim Bob and Michelle held a family festival fall in their place, which was apparently attended by at least 50 friends and family members. Jessa Duggar even recorded the event and posted a video on her YouTube.
Joy-Anna Duggar confirmed that she and Austin Forsyth had a coronavirus
It looks like Joy-Anna has already gone through the problem of getting a coronavirus. On January 10, 2021, she answered fan questions Instagram stories. And one fan asked about the virus.
“Did you and your family have COVID?” a fan was questioned.
“Yes, Austin and I proved positive for COVID last year,” Joy-Anna replied. “I was still pregnant with Evelyn. We were both experiencing body aches, a slight fever, and we lost our taste and smell. Luckily, we got over it quickly. ”
Joy-Anna seems to be the only member of her family who admits she has been treated for coronavirus so far. Jill Duggar was open about getting tested several months ago, and she took her fans with her via video. But Jill tested negative and has not attended any Duggar family events since the test.
Critics believe Joy-Anna and Austin are still not careful
Although Joy-Anna and Austin appeared to have a mild case of coronavirus, critics of Duggar’s family believe the couple is still not careful. Joy-Anna and Austin still seem to be visiting friends and family without examination.
“Maybe she thinks she’s immune now and doesn’t need a mask or anything,” criticism Reddit.
“This shows how little trouble these people perceive to be COVID,” wrote another. ”… She’s not like the kind of person who would be quieter about her baby’s health, so she seems to be in denial about the danger. ”
“I hope Evelyn and Gideon are okay,” wrote another writer. “I feel so bad for these children. ”
Overall, we are delighted that Joy-Anna and Austin are healthy and successful in 2021. And we hope that the rest of the Duggars are doing their best to stay safe.
