It’s no secret that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have 19 children, and we’ve heard a lot about how the parents budgeted for feeding and covering many children. And when it came to giving their children a weekly allowance, Duggar’s children did not receive free leaflets. Instead, they had to work to earn a small amount of money for themselves.
At times, Jim Bob rewards one of his children for losing a tooth. Only one snippet from Counting on showing that Jim Bob is not overly biased about who will win a prize. Here is what happened.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will not give a ration to their children
As mentioned before, Jim Bob and Michelle are not allowance fans for their kids, and for good reason – he puts up to 19 children in the house. But they can earn pieces of income here and there to complete the many tasks.
The older Duggars are responsible for assisting the younger children with schoolwork and ensuring that the younger ones fulfill their daily responsibilities. And the youngest of the bun is still learning how to make their beds, clean the home, and cook parts of the food.
Forward 19 Children and counting, the Duggars explained that they had been given “chore packs”. “Chore packs are small pieces of paper that are what every child should be doing during the day,” explained Jana Duggar.
Josie Duggar received $ 1 for a lost tooth
Every child gets a job, but it looks like the youngest of the primary school, Josie Duggar, could get away with far more than her older brothers. Josie is known as the “miracle” of the family, as she was born three months premature and went through many health problems as a baby. Now, she’s doing better than ever – but she’s definitely getting the most attention from her parents.
A. clip from Counting on showing Josie shaking a loose tooth – and the whole Duggar family is enthralled. To give her more encouragement to have her tooth removed, Jim Bob explained that he offered to give her $ 1.
“Hey, I’ll give you a dollar if you pull it out here,” Jim Bob told Josie about the tooth.
Jim Bob noted that he was not going to give the same amount of money to the other children
While Josie was offered a dollar, this seems to have been the norm for the Duggars. “We don’t usually give money for every tooth lost,” Jim Bob told the cameras, “but, with Josie’s case, we thought that might give her confidence. to achieve. ”
Josie finally got the wiggly tooth out – and Jenny, one of Josie ‘s slightly older children, told her parents that she had recently lost a tooth but had not received dollar compensation.
“So after we offered Josie a dollar to help her get her tooth out, Jenny came up and said, ‘Hey, I lost a tooth yesterday. ‘So then I gave her a dollar,’ explained Jim Bob. “And then it looked like Jordan over there was working on a few of her teeth trying to get them out.”
It seems that not every child has the dollar-for-tooth rule for every tooth. However, in Josie’s case, she may get more incentives than the rest.
