Linn Alex Trebek de Jeopardy! approaching its final days this week, nearly four decades after the Canadian-born guest took part in the speech of the answer and question program.

As the events from the game with Ken Jennings take to air next week, it’s more obvious that Jennings has some really big shoes to fill.

But the man who became known to the world in 2004 after recently winning 74 consecutive games has received negative attention thanks to his own opinions.

This is all on Jeopardy! fans question whether fans of the long-proven show should be sidelined for a more deserving candidate.

Jennings has recently been under investigation

The Jennings star has been rising over the past few years. He plays together in the new game show The chase in the ABC American version of the Brit program. He can also be seen on Game Show Network’s Main mind, co – created a board game, and written extensively on trivia and the world of trivia buffs.

Unfortunately, it’s the father of his own two ideas who has rubbed out of his star lately. In 2014, Jennings tweeted the infamous statement, “There’s nothing easier than a hot person in a wheelchair.” He looked back at his idea, apologizing for it.

“I never did public flogging for this, but I personally apologized for getting angry / hurt people out in person,” he tweeted in 2018. “It was such a joke unstable that it meant something very different in my head [and] I miss the simple, capable reading he did. ”

After that in 2015, another tweet in bad taste had fans asking ‘what was he thinking? when he posted about the death of a Star Wars fan who died after going to watch The force is waking up.

“It can’t be a good sign that every fan has seen the new one Star Wars the film died shortly afterwards, ”he said.

And then there was Dad’s wife

Week before a Jeopardy! events are hosted due to air, Jennings couldn’t resist tweeting again in waters full of controversy.

Jennings co-hosts a podcast called “Omnibus. ”This week, his podcast co-host John Roderick tweeted about his daughter who needed help opening a can of baked beans. He gave a long description of his approach in her application: handing the 9-year-old a hand-held opener and telling her she would not eat if she did not master the use of the opener say.

Many fans were shocked by Roddy’s parenting, but it was also his colleague Jennings’ deaf tone that disappointed him.

“I am so jealous and lazy that my podcast co-host is going to be a dictionary entry and I never will be,” Jennings said in a staff tweet Jeopardy! definitely groaned on reading.

What Alex Trebek had to say about Ken Jennings

Jennings may have just been, as he put it, unfortunately “careless and insensitive” in his comments. He might consider breaking from social media for a while.

There’s a lot of good about Jennings that many have noticed, but especially recommended by a man: Alex Trebek.

The late guest even gave Jennings a full chapter in his 2020 memoir The answer is… says, “When I think of Ken, I think of a good man. Very clear – that’s not to say. Someone who is not out there to give you a good idea. I can be someone very simple because I think we are the same kind of person. ”

It is also pertinent to recall the times Trebek suffered a public scrutiny while on the quiz for comments that offended competitors or spectators.

Ultimately, as with Trebek, viewers have to approve Jennings’ upcoming hospitality week Jeopardy! to find out whether or not he deserves that speech.
