“Don’t let the sweet taste fool the baby!” Symone (an Ebony Enchantress) has sashayed into the RuPaul Draw Race workroom and arriving at Avalon House. An early favorite among fans, Symoné confirmed that she was far more than just a beauty queen during the first scene Friday night and confirmed that she was a real threat in the tournament. Who is Symone?

Symone is the first Arkansas queen to enter the workroom RuPaul Draw Race. South Queen in sunny Los Angeles, she is a member of Avalon House, which is also famous for being the home of season 12 runner, Gigi Goode. This causes Goode and Symone to drag sisters.

She spoke about being at Avalon House in a pre-season interview with the local center, Arkansas Online. “People usually come out here on their own, following their dream,” she explained. “It’s sad. [In Arkansas] we are famous for the hospitality of the South. Here, it’s a different animal and that’s just LA makeup I was so blessed and so lucky that there were people here that I admire as a family. I don’t know how long I would have done it here if I hadn’t had it. “

Symone also revealed in another interview that Goode gave her some advice before she got on the show. “Gigi [Goode] she told me two pieces of advice, ”she said ET Online. “She said you have to go in there [thinking] you are the best singer, you are the best actress, you are the best dancer, you can do gymnastics if they tell you, b * tch. You are the best of all. Get in there with a little sense of deception. And then have fun. This is the first time – and the last hope – that you will be there, so have fun and just let go and let go, honey.

Symone is definitely not just Gigi Goode’s sister

And while she may have a famous drag sister in Goode, Symone is her full draw queen, and if viewers have yet to see her in the first look of the season, they will know not to compare between the two queens.

“I was that kid who was watching the show in a small town,” she told Arkansas Online. “It gave me hope and something to focus on. Growing up in Conway, there were other black, gay kids but I didn’t see that much on television. That’s part of why I wanted to be on display and why I wanted to slow down in the first place and be in the public eye. There has to be more reason than just attention.

Symone enters ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ with a bang

Symone came through the workroom with a grand turn to be held over the first few events. Queens entered the lab in pairs (and one trip) to lip-sync against each other. After this, they were divided into two groups: the winners and the losers who received “pigs,” referring to Victoria “Porkchop” Parker, the first to be eliminated. queen in the first season. Wearing a polaroid photo dress (with all the pictures of herself) Symone drew inspiration from a polaroid dress worn by Gisele Bündchen in the 1990s.

Symone won her lipync against her season 13 sister, Tamisha Iman. It was very close and one of the best pairs of the night.

Keep an eye out next week to see how the rest of those startup events played out.
