This time, his last name went from “Cochran” to “Katsopolis,” reflecting a proud Greek-American heritage. However, “Jesse” is not technically even the main name of this character.
During one program, Uncle revealed to his family that his birth name was Hermes, named after a Greek god and Jesse’s great-grandfather. Uncle Jesse reappears in Netflix spinoff series, titled ‘Fuller House’
Through it Full House running, Uncle Jesse appeared as “Young Dad,” helping Danny Tanner raise his three daughters.
