From ‘Soul’ to ‘Into the Woods’ — Here are the New Movies Coming To Disney+ During December 2020

Yes, some holiday movies are already available on the Disney membership service. If you’re looking to check out some new movies, though, Disney + has you covered. Here are just a few of the new movies coming into the streaming library.

‘High School Music: Album: The Holiday Special’

With season 2 of this original series still in the works, viewers are returning to the world of East High School for some holiday fun. Secondary Music: Album: The Holiday Special featuring iconic holiday and Christmas songs, as well as some original illustrations for cast members like Joshua Bassett. These special premieres will be on December 11th.

‘Ralph breaks the internet’

Ralph breaks the internet the sequence is to Shipwreck-It-Ralph, movie already available on Disney +. In this sequel, however, Ralph and Vanellope travel to an unknown secret place – the internet. They even meet a few Disney Princesses along the way.

This film was previously available on Disney’s competitive streaming platform, Netflix. Along with movies like Avengers: Infinity War, Incredibles 2, and Princess and the frog, has since changed to Disney +. Now, this animated film will be available to watch on Disney + starting on Dec.11.

‘Into the woods’

It started with a desire. This film features actors such as Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt. Together, their characters go into the woods in search of what they want. (But are they sure what they want?)

Into the woods available for streaming on Dec. 18. Until then, fans can watch music movies like The Sound of Music and News, as well as live platform productions like ABC The Little Maiden Alive!

What makes a person who they are? In this animated film, Disney and Pixar fans will learn about one musician and a mentor while embarking on an incredible adventure. This film was, of course, scheduled for a theater release in June 2020. That was postponed, along with films such as Mulan and Black Widow.

Soul will now be available to all Disney + subscribers on December 25, 2020. (Unlike the live-action Mulan, this will not be a “Premier Access” movie, meaning all registrars watch it at any time, as often as you would like, on any device.)

‘Max Keeble’s Great Move’

It’s great news to find out that you’re moving, especially for one middle school student, who hopes to get revenge on everyone he picked up in the past tense.

Max’s actions quickly reverse when he discovers that his family isn’t moving after all. The Disney News, The big move by Max Keeble, available for streaming on Disney + starting December 25th.
