Val Chmerkovskiy sees bad influence on romance at ‘DWTS’ competition

In his 2018 book I will never change my name: Dream of an American Immigrant from Ukraine to the US to Dance with the Stars, Chmerkovskiy explained how the romance with Parrish developed.

“As happens all the time in a ballroom, Janel basically fell in love with her dance teacher,” Chmerkovskiy wrote. “And her dance teacher (that was me) was too weak, too silly, and too hungry to take her aside and tell her, ‘Hey, I’m not very interested in this. I just want to dance. ‘”

Acknowledging that he bought into the media hype and valued a lot of winning an award, Chmerkovskiy felt the connection revolved around their achievements.

“There was no argument in Rumer’s words,” he told Willis. “She was a beautiful man with a persuasion to spread her inner light. I wanted the world to see how beautiful and special it was. “

Chmerkovskiy ‘s strategy paid off, where he and Willis won the 20th season competition.
