‘Downton Abbey’ Highest Rated Episodes on IMDb Are Christmas Themed

Head to Downton Abbey to celebrate the holiday season with the Crawley family. The drama ran some time after the famous British family and their staff for six seasons ran several business awards along the way.

Season 2 ‘Downton Abbey’ Episode 9: ‘Christmas at Downton Abbey’

Downton AbbeySeason 2’s program about Christmas at the Big House is 9.1 out of 10 stars IMDb. Nearly 2,000 users vote in second place. First aired in 2011, the show had no particular Christmas disappointments.

The program ended Christmas in 1919. Downton Abbey hosted nothing but a big party. He was busy preparing for the big show. Although that’s not all good.

People upstairs and downstairs were shocked when Mr John Bates (Brendan Coyle) was arrested and taken to court for the murder of his ex-wife, Vera. Initially sentenced to death, the beloved character ended up getting life in prison.

Meanwhile back at Downton, matters finally moved in the relationship between Matthew Crawley (Dan Stevens) and Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery). The show’s resident couple suggested, yes or no, Matthew suggested to Mary during a very romantic snowstorm at Downton.
