Shonda Rhimes and Netflix have teamed up to deliver a much-needed gift on Christmas Day 2020: the exciting new drama Bridgerton. The show is Rhimes’ first project in her multi-year deal with the streaming giant, and has been breaking records since it first appeared.

Bridgerton Netflix has been a huge success and is estimated to have attracted over 63 million viewers to date. This also followed the biggest streaming week Netflix has ever made for the days between Christmas and the New Year.
The show follows the Bridgerton aristocratic family and the teenagers in their family. The exhibition takes place in the world of high society in early 19th century England. Many people have drawn links to shows including Gossip Girl and Downton Abbey.

Andrews plays Lady Whistledown, the show’s hilarious narrator who has tea on every character in the story.
