Garten recommends Hellman brand mayo right on her website. But Ray won’t even grab the stuff if it’s a specific brand. That’s because the author of the cookbook refuses to eat or cook with mayonnaise for any reason.
“Stable mayonnaise on a shelf eliminates me!” She told people on the set Rachael Ray Exhibition in 2019. “I make aioli myself and I love Aquafaba, because it is based on chickpea.
