Andrew and Amira are one of the most recent additions to the Fian 90 days franchise. While the couple’s story is different, some fans compare Andrew to Colt Johnson. And some are worried that it could turn into “Colt 2.0.”
Amira and Andrew appear on season 8 of ’90 Day Fiancé’
In season 8, program 3 of Fian 90 days, Andrew introduced himself as a day care worker from Roseville, California. He helps his mother run a day care center out of her house and is seen reading a story to children dressed as a medieval king.
The 32-year-old noted that he did not have time for communication and a date due to his long hours at work. So he turned to an online dating website, where he met a French native Amira. After talking to her for a few months, Andrew planned a Las Vegas vacation to meet them.
When Amira arrived in Las Vegas, Andrew was beaten. The two struck him, and after three days, they engaged. When Amira returned to France, Andrew filed for her return on a K-1 visa.

“He’s a very romantic man,” said Amira, acknowledging her. “Very caring partner. He moved heaven and Earth to me in a heartbeat. ”
But Andrew pressured Amira to fly during a travel ban
Amira’s K-1 visa took over a year to get approved. And when it finally arrived, the United States had imposed a travel ban for Europeans because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But knowing that they did not have a limited time, Andrew looked for a gap to Amira in the country. He decided to meet her in Mexico, where they would quarantine for two weeks, and then fly to the USA.

But while talking to her father, Amira revealed how horrible she was flying to Mexico amid the rise in affairs. And when he asked her to reconsider, she said she had to leave because Andrew gave her an ultimatum.
“He said if I don’t make the trip, he will forever regret it,” Amira told her father.
Amira also noted that Andrew helped her financially and expected her to do what he wanted in return. Amira’s father suggested that Andrew had made his call several times before, and worried that she might not be happy with him in the long run. But Amira wished she still loved Andrew and wanted to be with him.
“My father has seen Andrew push me many times around Mexico,” said Amira Fian 90 days cameras. “Andrew would keep asking what he wants to do until I gave it up and say, ‘Yes, all right, I’ll do it. ‘So he doesn’t have a good idea of Andrew after all. ”

After hearing Amira describe the pressure Andrew put on her, some fans wondered if he had too much control. “He wants her to travel to Mexico in the midst of a pandemic, threatening to take away their love if she does not go,” said one fan he wrote on Reddit. “Have you also noticed that she feels she has to do what he wants because it costs her money? But after analyzing Andrew a little more, some thought he reminded them of Colt. “He seems to be a nice man, but in reality, it is very likely that he is another Colt,” Redditor suggested.
