5 Classic TV Shows That ‘Jeopardy!’ Host Alex Trebek Appeared In

For more than three decades, Alex Trebek hosted Jeopardy !. It was the trivial warm master who brought everyone home after a long day at work. And, though Jeopardy! closely tied to the guest’s legacy, he tried his hand at several other game shows during his career.

Trebek was also a host The Wizard of Odds, Double Dare, High Rollers, Battlestars, and more; they did not have the same staying power Jeopardy !. Throughout his life, Trebek also had a bit of fun featuring cameo shows in some of the hottest TV shows ever.

1. Trebek starred in the 1992 program ‘The Golden Girls’

In the program “Questions and Answers,” Alex Trebek was a solo guest, leading a tour of Jeopardy! that put Dorothy, Rose, and a male competitor named Charlie face-to-face. Also in the program was a guest appearance by Merv Griffin – the creator of the famous game show.

Dorothy dreams that she is on display, and in a dream, Rose ends up winning when Dorothy puts all her money on a wrong answer by the guest and the creator ( despite its certainty).

2. Alex Trebek starred in The 1995 Nanny

Alex Trebek, again, played himself in a program of The Nanny entitled “Franny and the Professor.” Fran gets the answer for Final Jeopardy right – after announcing a handful of links that go back to Barbra Streisand and the Funny girl book trivia.

5. Trebek even appeared in Baywatch

Trebek appeared in the 1998 program of Baywatch entitled “Swept Away.” Alex tries out for a spot on the game show, but, later in the program, ends up saving Trebek’s life.
