Prince William on Thursday defended the British royal family, after Harry’s younger brother and his wife Meghan Markle were accused of racism in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“We are not really a racist family,” said William, when he visited a school in London today, the Daily Mail reports.
Meghan admitted she planned to commit suicide after joining the royal family.
She also raised allegations of racism in the monarchy at the explosive television interview on Sunday.
The actress said there were concerns about the color of her unborn son’s skin.
“In those months when I was pregnant… we need the conversation ‘he will not be given security, he will not be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin can be when he is birth, ”Meghan said.
