Vector denies mocking Adeboye over son’s death

Well-known Nigerian rapper Vector has addressed criticism over a post thought to be mocking the church.

Vector wrote in a post on his Twitter on Thursday: “If you know you want to see it next year make some noise.”

His comment sparked mixed comments from fans on social media who accused him of mocking Pastor Enoch Adeboye over the death of his son, Dare.

Some fans said his role was insensitive at a time when the RCCG leader lost his son.

However, Vector clarified in another tweet that he was not mocking or referring to Pastor Adeboye in his earlier statement.

He wrote: “Oh! Don’t get this wrong, it’s not about church. It’s about a show I remembered.

“If you really believe that Ogunmefun Olanrewaju will mock Adeboye because he lost his son, you are a fool.”

DAILY POST had reported that Dare Adeboye died in his sleep Wednesday night.
