Well-known Nigerian singer Davido has said the use of his famous song ‘FEM’ during the SARS End movement was not intentional.
The singer, who was one of the celebrities who promoted the End SARS campaign against police brutality, his song was played at most of the protests in the country at the time.
Some thought that the ‘Fem’ crofter was using the End SARS campaign as an opportunity to move his songs.
However, Davido said in an interview with Billionaire’s daughter, Dj Cuppy that the idea was wrong.
Commenting on how his single FEM became the anthem of the EndSARS complaint, the father of three said “It was a coincidence that was not intentional.
“I broke the music in June and I didn’t know Nigerians would be kicking it at the time of the End SARS protest. ”
Davido also said that the reason he did not release his new record in October was because of the End SARS campaign.
