Trump grants presidential pardon to Lil Wayne, Kodak Black

Donald Trump in his last days as President of the United States of America has pardoned American rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

Lil Wayne in 2020 had pleaded guilty to possession of illegally loaded weapons on a private jet while traveling to Miami.

There is also pardon for Kodak Black who is in federal prison after pleading guilty to a weapon possession charge.

Trump also pardoned his former campaign manager Steve Bannon, former mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick among 100 others on the list.

However, Wikileaks and Edward Snowden did not have Julian Assange on the list.

Lil Wayne’s forgiveness may not come as a surprise as the Grammy-winning rapper had backed Trump for re-election in October 2020.
