The famous Juju musician from Nigeria, Oluwashina Akanbi Peters known as Sir Shina Peters, was ordained Bishop of Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
The legendary singer was ordained over the weekend at a reception in the Church of Cherubim and Seraphim in Iju district of Lagos State.
This singer confirmed on his Instagram page.
Along with a video and photo of his order, Shina Peters wrote: ” Bishop with the swagger. God above all. ”
“To God be the glory. I will serve my God to the end. ”.
The singer’s latest music was a collaboration with Teni on her hit, ‘Jo’, which was released in December 2020.
Shina Peters released her debut album ‘Ace (Afro-Juju Series 1), in 1989 and currently has 16 albums to her name.
His debut album that went double platinum allowed his music career into the industry.
‘Shinamania’ produced by Laolu Akins was released in 1991, winning three awards simultaneously with Disc Platinum for selling over 250,000 copies.
