Sadiq Daba: Atiku, Dele Momodu react to death of popular Nollywood actor

Former People’s Democratic party, PDP, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has dealt with the death of Sadiq Daba, a former Nollywood actress.

Daba, who was also a former broadcaster on Wednesday night, died after a long battle with leukemia and prostate cancer.

The deceased had been diagnosed with leukemia and prostate cancer in 2017, the same year he was taken out for treatment.

Daba’s career came to prominence in the late 1970s, appearing in Dawn’s Cockcrow.

In response to his death, Atiku prayed for the forgiveness of his sins.

In a tweet, Atiku wrote: “Sorry the cock no longer cries at break of day.

“Sadiq Daba, thank you so much for the joy you have brought into our homes.

“Forgive your sins, and your memories will be a blessing.”

For his part, Ovation Magazine Publisher Dele Momodu said Daba was fighting a “heroic battle. ”

“My dear brother, you have fought a brave battle. Good night and relax in peace. Former actress Sadiq Daba is dead, ”Momodu tweeted.
