Rapper Drake emerges ‘Billboard Artist of the Decade’

Canadian rapper Drake is poised to take the top honor at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards as the artist of the decade.

The 34-year-old will receive the award at the event to be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Drake was rated as the best-performing artist in the past 10 years, based on activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songbook and the Billboard 200 album, as well as social media and revenue data. from Billboard Boxscore, from December 5, 2009, through September 28, 2019.

The Canadian rapper also has up to seven awards in regular categories (Top Radio Song; Top Male Artist; Top Billboard 200 Artist; Top 100 Hot Artist; Top Streaming Song Artist; Top Rap Artist; Song Streaming Top).
