Nollywood actor Swanky JKA has said the film industry in Nigeria is stereotyped without any structure.
The ‘Living in Bondage’ star actor said this in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’s mind.
According to him, Nollywood is all about money and ‘stereotyping’ is his biggest problem.
Swanky said: “The biggest problem with Nollywood stereotyping is that if I was an actor in Lagos when I was listening for ‘Living in bondage’ I might not have been selected for the role because they were watching for someone who was not popular.
“There is no plan or structure in Nollywood, it’s about the money. It’s just like when everyone is doing Ghetto or comedy movies, everyone is doing comedy and it’s a big problem
“Most veterans’ careers go into one job and that’s not good.”
