Nicki Minaj drags Grammys over ‘Best new artist’ award

Popular Rapper Nicki Minaj has slammed Grammys organizers for rejecting the 2012 ‘Best New Artist’ award.

Bon Iver won Best New Artist in 2012 Grammys, and Nicki lost all four 2012 categories in which she was nominated.

However, Nicki made Grammys history by becoming the first female rapper Solo to play at the awards ceremony.

Nicki pulled on her Twitter page Tuesday night Grammys to present the award to Bon Iver.

She wrote: “Don’t forget that the Grammys didn’t give me the best new artist award when I had seven songs recorded at the same time on a billboard and the first week more than any female rapper in a decade finally and I went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver. “

The Rapper said this after announcing the release of Grammys 2020, in which Beyoncé topped with 9 nominations, while artists like The Weeknd, Lil Baby were sculpted.

Meanwhile, the Trevor Noah Comedy award presents this year’s Grammys award.
