Famous Nigerian Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has criticized women taking part in the level x viral silhouette challenge.
The silhouette challenge flooded social media in the few hours as users posted nude videos with red filters.
With the challenge of the Silhouette, women on social media are showing off their invitations by using red light filters, door frames, etcetera.
Mercy Chinwo in a post on her Instagram page warned women not to follow every online trend, even as she criticized the challenge of the silhouette.
She also demanded that women be transformed inwardly by the Holy Spirit in their thinking.
Her post reads: “Ladies, you don’t have to follow every move. Behave with respect, know your worth. That’s why you’re different. ”
“Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works (Life, character) and glorify your Father in heaven. #ISTANDAGAINSTSILHOUTTECHALLENGE. ”
The singer persuaded women to covet the images and ideas of the culture around them but instead behaved with respect.
“Don’t stop imitating the ideas and opinions of the culture around you, but be transformed inwardly by the Holy Spirit through a complete overhaul of how you think.
“This will empower you to recognize God’s will as you live a beautiful, fulfilling, and perfect life in His eyes.
Romans 12: 2, ”said the singer.
