Grammy Awards: Nigerian govt pays tributes to Wizkid, Burna Boy

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has congratulated Wizkid and Burna Boy on winning their first Grammys awards.

PDP National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan said the influence of Wizkid and Burna Boy showed that Nigerians have a stable spirit.

In a tweet, a PDP spokesman said the two represent those who would take Nigeria to jealous heights.

He wrote: “@OfficialPDPNig congratulates @Wizkidd and @Burnaboy, saying their #Grammys awards reflect the strength of the Nigerian spirit.

“Both have shown the potential of next-generation Nigeria to take our country to envy.

“Congratulations. More benefits. ”

The All Progressives Congress, APC, also marked the two over their victory.

In a tweet, the APC assured Nigerians that the best is yet to come.
