End SARS: You are a failure – Wizkid tells Buhari, Osinbajo, IGP to resign

Music expert Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has called on the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammad Adamu on the inability to address the nationwide situation as End SARS protests continue to spread across Nigeria.

Wizkid responded to the ongoing upheaval in the country in a tweet via his Twitter logo Wednesday that Buhari has failed in his tenure as president of the country, adding that he should resign , Including Osinbajo and Adamu.

He tweeted: “@MBuhari you are failing! Old and helpless! Step down! We don’t want you, your Vice President and IG! Bring up!

Meanwhile, the leadership has advocated for understanding and calm throughout Nigeria amid the end of SARS riots.

The president’s spokeswoman, Femi Adesina, said in a statement Tuesday that the implementation of Police reforms was accelerating at Federal and State levels.

Adesina explained that at the last count thirteen states have set up the Judicial Inquiry Panels as arranged by the National Economic Council to deal with justice for victims of police brutality.

They are Lagos, Kaduna, Delta, Ekiti, Ogun, Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Plateau, Edo, Nasarawa, Ondo and Akwa Ibom.

Adesina said President Buhari welcomed the speed of the actions and will support states to ensure that justice is achieved for all victims of police brutality in Nigeria.
