Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, has told protesters in Lagos State to stay at home.
Falz took the advice after cases of thugury and the curfew imposed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday.
Sanwo-Olu had announced a 24-hour curfew in Lagos after hoodlums were filed against the End SARS complaint.
On Tuesday, an Orile Iganmu police station and another were knocked down with some hoodlums standing as protesters.
In a tweet, Falz shared a video of himself accusing the Lagos State Government of failing to fulfill its duty to protect life and buildings.
He persuaded the protesters to stay at home until they had built a curfew.
According to him, there will be designated places for the hikers to go, to avoid hijack with hoodlums.
“Despite the thugury we have seen, and the curfew imposed in the state of Lagos, it is important that we all stay safe instead of losing more lives.
“We are still skeptical about our applications and this is just HALF TIME !! We will be back when the body is lifted.
“Please send Lagos, stay home and abide by the law. They really want us to have something but they will never succeed. This move is bigger than all of us! #EndSARS, ”he said.
