Enmy and Oscar-winning actress Cloris Leachman has died at the age of 94.
A statement by her journalist Monique Moss said the actress died in her sleep caused by natural causes at her home in Encinitas, California.
“I was honored to work with Cloris Leachman, one of the most feared actresses of our time.
“There was no one like Cloris. With one glance, she was able to break your heart or make you laugh until tears ran down your face.
“You never knew what Cloris was going to say or do and invisible quality was part of her incomparable magic.
“Let us pray that God rests his soul,” the statement said.
Before her death, Leachman won the Oscar-winning actress for her role in Peter Bogdanovich’s Beauty, “The Last Picture Show.”
She has also appeared in The Last Picture Show, Young Frankenstein and the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
