Smith says that he used to mend some broken relationships. However, he changed his mind. Now he believes there is hope for all friendships.

“I no longer believe any relationship is unstable,” Smith said during the Progressive game podcast. “I believe that people get hold of love so badly, that people who are hungry are so hard for calm care, when properly applied even to the lowest minds, I am believing that philanthropy has a magical effect when you really care about someone’s well-being. If you can create the environment that is calm enough for that to be communicated, very few minds can resist real, genuine concern for their well-being. ”

Smith says he used to live with the motto, “99% is as bad as 0.” He took a whole new approach. However, he says he quickly learned that this is not the best way to survive.

“I understood that complaining complaint,” said Smith. “I saw the broken ground that I left in my personal life with that one. “He says he lived up to those mottos for a long time, partly because he grew up with an army father.

“The new motto I’m trying to live with is ‘Everyone suffers, so help them,'” he says. “I’ve been working a lot with Jay Shetty for the last few months. I have been studying Bhagavad Gita and Hinduism. And the basic idea is that the first half of your day is for you and the second half of your day is for others. ”

Smith says he wants to gain a deep understanding of how other people think and feel. He wants to dedicate his life to helping others, even if the other person is an enemy.

“I want people to see the humanitarian potential of your enemy,” says Smith. “I want people to be able to recognize and recognize bad behavior as recognizing that someone has been unloving and careless. They are behaving badly because they have been treated badly. “

“I think there is a higher level of interaction with the world if you can elevate your opinion,” Smith continues. “If you can build your understanding of the people and situations you are facing. I’m definitely going to develop this idea and find out how in the world I help people cultivate a higher understanding of each other’s humanity. If anyone can be saved, I want to be a part of saving them. ”
