On January 14, the Biden Augural Committee announced that Lopez and Lady Gaga are among the many acts to perform at the event. Lady Gaga kicks things off with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” followed by a special musical performance from Lopez.
“They represent one vivid picture of the great diversity of our great nation and will help to honor and celebrate the time-honored traditions of the founding of the president when President Biden and Vice President Harris President takes oath of office on US Capitol West Front, ”said inaugural committee leader Tony Allen CNN of the partners, which also includes poet Amanda Gorman and the Rev. Dr. Silvester Beaman, among others.
“They are also committed to the President and Vice President’s enduring vision of a new chapter in our American story in which we are a united America in overcoming the deep divisions and challenges. facing our people, uniting the country, and renewing the soul of our country, ”Allen continued.
But there are still ways for them to make money
While pay-per-view may not be directly involved, the appearance of such a large platform could still be financially beneficial for Lopez and Lady Gaga.
With millions of spectators tuning in, the “Invading My Mind” collaborators have the opportunity to inspire and expose many fans to their music. This, in turn, could lead to more streams and increases in other areas that also translate into dollars. So either way, it ‘s like winning.
