Miley Cyrus releases her 2020 album ‘Plastic Hearts’
After months of speculation following the release of her single “Midnight Sky,” in August 2020, Cryus announced its seventh studio album, “Plastic Hearts. The album, which features collaborations with Dua Lipa, Billy Idol, and Joan Jett, was released on November 27, 2020, to gain acclaim.
“The support I’m getting tonight is getting over my PLASTIC HEART.” Cyrus tweeted on the night before the first album. “I was born to record the album I have released! To my fans who have been here from the beginning, I value you more than I can properly explain. ”
She thwarted her original plans after her house burned down
Cyrus first announced Is to Miley Cyrus. “I was going and doing a set of 3 EPs, which was amazing,” she said Zane Lowe for Apple Music. “I was in love with the songs. But those two EPs were no longer relevant. And even though I really admired the songs for what they were, they lost their relevance. So for me, I can never release that. “
The artist changed her mind after her 2018-2019 whistle, in which her house burned down in a fire, and separated actress Liam Hemsworth. “Life is just laughs,” she said of making plans. “I think there’s something about getting an idea of what you want,” she continued, but said, “I’ll never let an idea or a record prove my creative choices.”
Cyrus did not want to create ‘Plastic Hearts’
He spent time dealing with the fire destroying her home. “Some of you just want to start digging through ashes and finding anything left over,” she told Lowe, trying to save what was left, which was very small. And Cyrus lost a lot more than just music. “My studio was the only thing left,” she said.
Although she released the EP She is coming in 2019, Cyrus decided to move on to Plastic hearts in 2020. And while she won’t let go of the other lost tracks, she’s okay with that. “I write a lot of songs that no one will ever hear – they’re just for me,” she told Lowe. Cyrus said, “Sending music to me is not a big decision. It just is. It just always flows out. ”
Why she is taken away from her previous songs
Cyrus talked more about renewing her efforts. She called the she is because of its “kind of representation” of its “fear of promise” in terms of “reporting,” or “having a full job [saying] “This is who I am.” Cyrus thinks this is because she changes “every day. ”
“When you make a record,” she explained, “you have to turn that in half a year before anyone can hear it. You are far from it. Time heals all. The songs that are filled with pain or love or life, you are taken away. I always hated making physical records. I’m so glad we’ve moved into a new way of putting out music. ”
