What is ‘The Equalizer’ all about?

Queen Latifah will play the main character Robyn McCall. She uses her skills as a CIA deputy to help people in trouble. Most people just see Robyn as a single mother raising her daughter. However, few people know her by another identity – The Fairness.

According to the CBS promo, The Equalizer is “an anonymous protective angel and protector of the recession, which is also involved in the pursuit of personal freedom. “Robyn tries to keep this identity a secret from her daughter and sister, who live with her. However, her work gets the attention of NYPD Detective Marcus Dante (Tory Kittles), who tries his best to reveal her secret.

Queen Latifah stars in ‘The Equalizer’

Many actors have to take their time and think about an offer when it is first shown. However, this was not the case for Queen Latifah. During the promotional video for the TV series, Queen Latifah arsa this is one of the few times she has been offered a job and she was immediately accepted.

“We will see so many people with money and power doing whatever the hell they want,” Queen Latifah says Insider Tbh. “You watch a story on the news and say, ‘Someone should do something about it. ‘That’s Robyn McCall. This is encouraging for a girl’s power, especially at a time when we are seeing a lot of imbalance. ”

Queen Latifah is famous for her career as a rapper. However, she has also had a successful acting course. Queen Latifah made her film debut in 1991 Jungle Fever (directed and produced by Spike Lee), in which she played the character LaShawn. That same year, she played Zora in House Party 2. Queen Latifah also played a part in the famous comedy Prince Fresh Bel-Air. She played the characters Dee Dee and Marisa Redman for two programs.

In 1993, Queen Latifah joined a team Living single. She was the main character of Khadijah James until 1998. From 2013 to 2015, she held her own concert, with the title Exhibition of Queen Latifah. She is also famous for her roles in Star, Girls Tour, Mad Money, Last Holiday, Bringing down the house, and Beauty Shop. As far as future projects are concerned, Queen Latifah is expected to appear The Tiger Rebellion, and Chase paper.
