Marilyn Monroe was a famous actress and model in the 1950s and early 1960s. She was famous for her funny and sexy blonde bombshell characters. She was born on June 1, 1926, and died on August 4, 1962.
Melissa Gilbert is best known for her role as Laura Ingalls Toilet on the Moor, which began from 1974 – 1982. She was appointed when she was only 9 years old. Gilbert and Monroe had the same makeup artist, a fact that always struck young girlfriend Laura Ingalls as glamorous.
In her memory, Prairie story, Gilbert writes about one of her first memories of Whitey Snyder, Monroe ‘s makeup artist.
“[Michael Landon] everyone worked hard, ”she wrote. “He was a perfectionist. But he did first-rate things. We traveled by private jet, on big planes, and everyone gathered in together. When Gilbert found out that Snyder was Monroe’s personal artist, she was “very good.”
Snyder was twice nominated for his work. He was nominated in 1978 for Outstanding Achievement in Make-Up for his work on it Marilyn: The story without a story. And he was nominated for the same award in 1981 for his work on it Toilet on the Moor.
He died in 1994, living with his wife, Marjorie Plecher, who had also worked with Marilyn Monroe as the director of the wardrobe on several of the image’s films.
