They may not have won season 7 of RuPaul Draw Race, but these two found success outside of the RuPaul reality contest series. Because they work together so much, Trixie Mattel and Katya share that they don’t really hang out. UNHhhh.
Trixie Mattel and Katya work on several projects together
Maybe their relationship started RuPaul Draw Race season 7, but has now grown to several shows, a book, a podcast, and a partnership with a streaming platform. Trixie and Katya will also appear in conjunction with the Netflix YouTube series, I love watching, where they unpack the latest episodes of Netflix original TV shows and movies.
Recently, the two came together to write the New York Times bestseller, Trixie and Katya’s Guide to a Modern Woman. With so much time together, these two share that they don’t hang out when they’re not working together.

Outside of work, these two don’t hang out at all
During one episode of UNHhhh, however, these two actors talked about the drama and trauma in the drawing community. When it came to pouring tea about their own relationship, there was not much tea to pour.
“Everyone knows about this – we won’t be there long,” Trixie said in the webcast. “We are both lonely so it’s perfect. I would say we talk on the phone maybe every day? In short? ”
“And FaceTime a lot,” Katya said. “I mean, what are we going to do? I don’t play video games. ”
“I’d say if we really had drama, I don’t think we could because I think we’d talk about it before it happens and get pregnant,” Trixie told Katya agreeing. “Because I think we’ve been through it worse, I think the worst is behind us.”

Katya solved some of the scenes from Trixie Mattel’s documentary, ‘Moving Parts’
After the end of Viceland’s Trixie and Katya Exhibition, there was a brief moment when Trixie Mattel and Katya were not talking. The longest parts of their relationship were shown during the Trixie Mattel award-winning documentary, Moving parts.
In an interview with the Move up Ewan podcast, Katya discussed her current relationship with Trixie Mattel and how it has changed since then Trixie and Katya show.
“Not feeling corny, though [Trixie has] I was taught the true power and value of forgiveness, ”Katya said of her relationship with the other draw. “[Trixie] just kind of waiting for it. And forgive me. That’s pretty amazing, because I don’t know what I would have done in her situation. “
