‘The Mandalorian’ Star Carl Weathers Had One Baby Yoda Request In the Episode He Directed

Carl Weathers began his work Am Mandalorian as an actor. Greef Karga (Weathers) was in the first program and repeated from time to time. He was in the fourth program of season 3, and directed the program entitled “The Siege. As a director, he had one special request for The Child, aka Baby Yoda.

Empire Film Podcast features a preview of their upcoming interview with Weathers on November 23rd. In the clip, Weathers discusses his same request from the writer of “The Siege” and Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau.

Carl Weathers wanted more Baby Yoda in ‘The Mandalorian’

The breakout star of Am Mandalorian has been Baby Yoda. So when Weathers directed “The Chorus” he wanted more Baby Yoda than the Favreau script originally included.

“That, for me, was just an amazing balance,” Weathers said. “So by getting more of it – off, because I’m not sure what gender it is and I don’t think it matters – it’s so sweet and Jon made such beautiful scenes. I was lucky to have that same vision with the child that made me happy. ”
