Taylor Swift is usually very tight on her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. But in a conversation with Paul McCartney, she let fans in on the meaning of her song, “Peace,” an album from her latest album, Oral tradition, which she released in July 2020.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn keep the relationship private
It is unclear when Swift and Favorite one the actor started going first. That’s because they’ve kept the romance out of the public eye. In May 2017, rumors of a relationship went public. Taylor Swift says ‘Peace’ is about having a normal life with Joe Alwyn
Contacting McCartney for a special case cover of Rolling Stone, Swift talked about the meaning of the 15th song on her album.
“‘Peace’ is more ingrained in my personal life,” she said. “I know you have done an admirable job of this in your personal life: finding human life within public life, and how frightening it can be when you fall in love and meet you to someone, especially if you have met someone who has a very normal established lifestyle. ”
She continued, saying she could only control so much.
“All of a sudden I can, in my worries, control how I am a human being and how normally I act and reason things, but I can’t control whether there are 20 photographers out in the cupboards and what they do and if they follow our car and stop our lives, ”she said. “I can’t control it if we have a weird headline in the news tomorrow.”
When McCartney asked if her “partner” aka Alwyn understood, Swift replied, “Oh, absolutely.”
The 30-year-old opened up more about the song and her boyfriend, saying she’s made life changes to make it “more like real life.” ”
“But I think, by knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have certainly made decisions that have made my life feel more like life. really and less like just a story that will be told in tabloids, ”she said.
Taylor Swift tries to ‘find normal pieces’ in her life
What does that mean in Swift’s daily life?
“Whether that decides where to live, who you hang with, when you don’t take a picture – the idea of privacy feels so weird trying to explain, but it’s really just trying to find the usual pieces, ”she explained.
“That’s what that song ‘Peace’ speaks for,” she said. “Like, would it be enough if I could never achieve the norm we both want to achieve? ”
Swift and Alwyn continue to hold on tightly to the relationship. In addition to double-tapping each other’s Instagram posts or giving the rare idea of their love life during an interview, they keep their relationship private.
