Tamar Braxton Says Getting Fired From ‘The Real’ Began Her Sprial Into Depression

Tamar Braxton has been outspoken about the pain and upset she suffered amidst the public downfall from shooting ‘The Real.’ The “Love & War” singer admits that she is ashamed of the thought that she is having a hard time working with him and she admits that it is difficult to kick back from humility. In a new interview, Braxton says the burn marked the beginning of her depression.

Braxton began hosting The True during her summer audition in 2013. She co-hosted the show for two seasons before firing in 2016. Love B. Scott was the first to make a statement that Braxton was burned.

Braxton visited Taraji P. Henson ‘s new Facebook Live series Peace of Mind to discuss her journey in improving her mental health. While talking about her suicide attempt in July 2020, Braxton revealed that the shooting from ‘The Real’ was the beginning of her depression and a twist.

“The first time I knew things weren’t normal when it all went downhill. I was in my bedroom, it was completely dark, ”said Braxton, confirming with fellow Henson that she began to feel like she was in a fog. “You don’t shower, you don’t eat and you don’t know what day of the week or time it is, and you don’t have to worry.”

Despite feeling so low, Braxton continued to work on her reality series and went on tour to promote her music. She put on a heroic face but admits she was sad and embarrassed.

“I was able to hide it enough to pull myself out, almost, from there,” she continued, explaining that sticking to reality television didn’t help. “And then I go back to the same toxic lifestyle dealing with everything that happened to me before and that happens to me regularly. From day to day, I was just slipping past, ”

Braxton says that, as time went on, she worked tirelessly and always defending her reputation from her painting on ‘Braxton Family Values’ leaving her feeling choked. .
