‘Supernatural’: Misha Collins Once Interned at the White House and Stole Security Passes From There

Misha Collins is famous for being the angel of Castiel on the long line Supernatural. He has also appeared on shows such as 24 and ER.

Misha Collins once spoke about stealing security badges from the White House

Prior to becoming an actor, Collins aspired to a career in politics. As a result, in 1994, he entered the White House during the administration of Bill Clinton.

At one event many years ago, Collins shared a tidbit about his time in the White House. Like many government buildings in and around Washington, DC, the White House had a security checkpoint. Workers like Collins were given security permits to wear them around their necks once they were working inside the White House.

During his presidency, Clinton found himself embroiled in a major scandal. He was allegedly having sex with White House employee Monica Lewinsky. Although Collins’ internship ended before Lewinsky came to the White House, he submitted an article describing the scandal.

In an article for the Baltimore sun In 1998, Collins – who went by his real name, Dmitri Krushnic – wrote about how he thought the media’s claims about Lewinsky were “false.”

“In an attempt to trace Ms Lewinsky’s behavior to determine whether they are suggesting a relationship, the media has reported that sources describe Ms Lewinsky as ‘infatuated’ by the head. -sitting, ‘star hit’ and even ‘stalker,’ Collins said. “Evelyn Lieberman, former White House deputy chief of staff, and other staff say they are reminding Ms Lewinsky to be suspicious and enthusiastic about spending time with Mr Clinton and that she was ‘hanging around the West Wing a little too much.’

However, according to Collins, it was not uncommon for interns to be drawn to Clinton. He said many interns with whom he worked tried to meet the president. Some even changed their working hours or hung around in the hallway for a long time just to get views of Clinton.
